Camp Happy Trails had a kind of vibe that Laurie thought was classic and\noutdoorsy in a fun way, though she could have done with a nicer shower setup.\nStill, she managed to keep her pretty blonde hair well-groomed and her skin\nclean. Only Laurie could pull off the camp-aesthetic so well while also\nmaintaining her bratty, confident persona. She wasn’t down to earth; she was\nabove it. Her cut-off jean shorts and t-shirt looked as good on her as designer\nclothes did on other people.

In the flickering light of the fire, Laurie’s face glowed.

\n\n

“I could handle him,” she said, in her self-possessed, unself-conscious way.\n“I’d sorta like to see him try,” she added, flipping her hair over her shoulder\nas she leaned closer to the fire.

\n\n

“I don’t know many people who could survive Hans the Butcher,” her friend\nsaid, shivering a little, though she didn’t directly say she didn’t think\nLaurie could. If anyone could, it would be Laurie. “He’s so creepy.”

\n\n

The next morning, there was an axe mark in the tree by the fire, directly\nabove where Laurie’s head had been the night before. Laurie looked at it,\ncocking her head to the side. The other girls watched her, eyes wide and\nscared. Then she laughed, high and feminine and teasing.

\n\n

“Let’s play, then!” Laurie called into the woods. “Come and get me.”

\n\n

Hans’ presence followed them around, stalking them. It was like he was drawn\nto Laurie, but he never let himself get too close. The other girls were\nterrified, even though they tried to be brave like their friend. It wasn’t even\nbravery, though, not really. Laurie was just unfazed. She continued to taunt\nhim. If she saw his looming figure in the shadows, she’d beckon him closer with\na wink. If she heard his footsteps through the camp at night, she’d call out to\nhim, daring him to approach her.

\n\n

“Come on,” Laurie said. “We’re not going to just sit around and let him\nterrorize us.” She was trying—successfully, of course, because she was her—to\nrally her friends to go out and look for Hans. “We can terrorize him back,” she\nsaid, smirking. She’d gotten tired of her friends being scared and was taking\naction. If he wasn’t going to make a move, she would.

\n\n

She led her friends through the forest, each of them jumping at every little\nsound, tree branches snapping, even birds chirping, but not Laurie. She scanned\nthe woods ahead of her with a gleam in her eye. When she caught sight of the\ncabin, she knew it was his. It was like something from a horror movie, with\nshuttered windows and a sagging roof, and even Laurie’s magnetism couldn’t\nconvince her friends to go inside.

\n\n

“Well then, stick together,” Laurie said, rolling her eyes. “And wait for me\nright here. Scream if you see him.” And with that, she slipped into the cabin,\ntaking it in with gleaming eyes. Her gaze flicked over axes and sledgehammers,\nall of them smaller than the fabled one he carried. She saw his bed, rumpled\nand massive, and, beside it, a journal. She grabbed it with glee, riffling\nthrough the pages. She giggled as she read, her smile growing wider and wider.

\n\n

“He’s obsessed with control,” she told her friends after they’d returned to\ncamp. Laurie was practically vibrating with excitement, rubbing her thighs\ntogether. Between her legs, heat had gathered, just thinking about how she’d\nmanipulate Hans with the knowledge she’d gained.

\n\n

“He’s terrified that someone might hypnotize him, especially someone like\nme. A woman.” She laughed, smiling at each of her friends in turn. “I think\nhe’s extra susceptible to hypnosis from someone pretty,” she said, sounding\nneither vain nor apologetic for calling herself pretty. It was simply a fact.

“Did you hear that, Hans!” Laurie called. Though her voice was still high\nand loud, it had taken on a hypnotic rhythm. “I know you’re scared of me,\nscared of how much you want me. You want me so badly, don’t you, Hans? Then\ncome get me.”

\n\n

It was more than a taunt this time. It was a fish-hook, pulling him in,\ntugging him closer whether he wanted to be drawn in or not. He couldn’t fight\nthe way Laurie pulled him towards her.

“Come out now,” she commanded. “I’m tired of this game.”

\n\n

Hans’ feet weren’t the only part of his body that betrayed him as he found\nhimself leaving the shadows of the woods, creeping towards Laurie’s fire. “Aw, look at that,” she murmured. “You’re not so tough after all, are you?”\nHans tried to snarl, but he found, to his embarrassment, that only a feeble\nlittle moan left his mouth. Laurie tossed her head back and laughed.

\n\n

“Get on your knees,” she said as she snapped her fingers, and Hans found\nhimself falling to his knees. Laurie sashayed her way closer to him, her\nmovements slow and sensual, her breasts swaying slightly under her t-shirt, the\nbare skin of her thighs taunting him. She came to a stop directly in front of\nhim, looking down her nose at him with a smile that made pre-cum ooze from his\ncock. He stifled another groan.

You’re obsessed with me.” She continued on a loop. She\npushed his head to the other side and he let her; he was, after all, a toy for\nher to play with.

“You’re trapped, thinking about me, missing me, being humiliated by how easy\nit was for me to defeat you,” she said. And then she leaned forward and kissed\nthe top of his mask. It wasn’t a loving kiss. It was taunting and full of\ndominance, the kind of kiss an executioner might put on the forehead of the\nhead he was about to lop off. Then she pushed him away from her and spun on her\nheel, not sparing him a second look.
